Speaking to media persons, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni CEO of the Company said, Managing recorded voice calls is essential especially when recording for longer periods of time. It is also easy to manipulate the recorded voice calls by filtering the calls choosing either called or calling number, length of call, etc. GL’s enhanced Call Management Utility (CMU) is an application coupled with the GL’s T1 E1 Call Capture and Analysis (CCA), that provides all the necessary management tools to perform function of recording voice calls. Call records are immediately generated, indexed, and displayed once a voice recording over T1 or E1 lines is completed by the CCA.

He added, Recorded calls can be further filtered or played back or analyzed as required. All relevant information associated with each recorded call is included such as, timestamp, timeslot, length of call, and size of file (to name a few) . The user may configure a different filter for each monitoring instance, hence providing added flexibility. The user has the option to display all Active Calls (shows real-time capturing information) or a user-defined filtered list of all Completed Calls.

Audio playback of completed and captured calls is easily accomplished with the CMU. A captured call can instantly be played to the PC speakers, either the East direction, or the West direction, or both directions simultaneously. The user may also display the captured call to a waveform viewer for further analysis.

Mr. Kulkarni further added, Using the CMU post-processing feature, one can display call records associated with a directory of recently captured voice files. Individual Call Records are displayed for each file and the user has the same fundamental capability to play each voice file.

In April the family-owned operation celebrated its 30th year in business. Formed in 1983, the company has grown from a small office to a distribution and production warehouse serving customers worldwide. President Jerry Cohen credited the companys loyal employees and equally loyal customers for making the growth and success possible, and promised much more in the years ahead.

At the same time Atlantic Stainless unveiled its newest piece of equipment, a water-injected high definition plasma machine. Cohen hailed the plasma cutter as an important step in Atlantics commitment to continuing to provide customers with state-of-the-art cutting options at reasonable prices.

The new equipment will handle stainless plates up to 2 thick. Using water in the cutting process, Atlantic Stainless is now able to provide much tighter cutting tolerances on all standard and custom shapes. With the heat reduction edges are not as hard, allowing for a product requiring less machining to meet finished dimensions. This saves valuable shop time for machinists, while costing far less than water-jet or other expensive cutting options.

Our customers said they wanted to see better quality cut parts, but did not want to pay exorbitant prices Cohen explained. We listened, and now are able to offer them an economical alternative that meets both their machining and budgetary needs.

The new plasma cutter offers increased speed and efficiency, as well as a fully computerized program to cut customer drawings. Cohen reports existing customers have expressed tremendous satisfaction with the increased quality of the cuts as well as the ability to decrease loss and waste by holding the tighter tolerances. Its a win-win situation for all of us, he added.
